Roseann Martarano, LCSW

Roseann Martarano holds a Masters degree in Social Work from the University of Illinois, Jane Addams College of Social Work. She has worked as a clinical social worker in the field of mental health since 1987. Roseann's clinical work began in the field of aging working with individuals and families. For fifteen years prior to working at the Center for Contextual Change, she worked for a well regarded hospital in several mental health programs including inpatient psychiatry, eating disorder day hospital and outpatient psychiatric day hospital. She has extensive experience working with individuals and families struggling with depression, bi-polar disorder, anxiety, thought disorders, stress, life transitions and changes, loss, and other mental health issues.

In addition to working with individuals and families Roseann has advanced skills in facilitating groups. Her work at the Center includes leading DBT groups, a self-empowerment group for adolescents, and process oriented group therapy.
