Roseann Martarano, LCSW

Roseann Martarano holds a Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Illinois at Chicago, Jane Addams College of Social Work. She has worked at the Center for Contextual Change since 2006 and has over 25 years of clinical experience.

Using the Collaborative Stage Model to organize therapy Roseann takes a nonjudgmental, strengths-based approach to therapy incorporating multiple modalities.  She works collaboratively with clients to increase understanding of current struggles toward an increase of acceptance, self-compassion, and change.

Roseann has extensive experience working with adults and families on issues of trauma, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, addictions, relationship issues, grief and loss, and aging issues.

She is a member of the Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) team at CCC and has facilitated DBT groups as well as incorporating DBT and mindfulness skills into individual work.

Roseann has been trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) which she incorporates into trauma work with clients.

"Working in this field and at CCC is a blessing in my life.  On a daily basis I am witness to strength and resiliency and have gratitude that I can participate in another’s healing process." — Roseann Martarano
