Career Opportunities

The Center offers internships, externships and other career opportunities for students and professionals who desire to practice in a dynamic, compassionate clinical environment. The Center for Contextual Change is a group practice that is funded both publicly and privately and services over 400 clients per week in our 3 Chicago area offices. Opportunities for professional growth are abundant as we provide extensive clinical training and on-going supervision using a team-focused approach which is based on The Collaborative Change Model.

The Center offers a private group practice environment with the stability and support of an agency. Full-time staff are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package which includes Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Insurance, Life Insurance and Paid Time Off.

We are no longer accepting applications for our Trauma Externship. The next application period will be during Spring/Summer 2017.


We are currently accepting applications for the 2017-2018 academic year internship program. Applicants must have had a previous clinical placement and be entering their final year of a Social Work, Counseling or Marriage and Family Therapy masters program. The internship will run from August 2017 to June 2018.
